Ivanti’s email listener provides the ability to listen for emails for just about any module within Ivanti Service Manager. It can be configured to create new and update existing, Incidents, Service Requests, Problems, Changes, Releases, Knowledge Articles, Approvals and Tasks – or whatever!. You can say goodbye to sending emails from your personal inbox and then copying and pasting into the notes of each of those items, and say hello to automating that process using email listeners. It even gives you the opportunity to create a fail safe, alerting those who sent an email to the box in error that they have reached the incorrect email address.
