Ivanti is always working hard to improve their ISM and ITAM platforms and here are some of the awesome new things available to you in the 202.2 version:
EWS Update to add OAuth Authentication for Exchange Calendar Configuration: Up until now, only Basic Authentication was supported for Exchange Calendar Configuration, now you can use OAuth Authentication
Self Service Chat Capability (Only for Cloud Customers): End users can now initiate a chat conversation from both desktop or mobile devices to the Service Desk Analysts from the self Service Portal. Analysts will also have the choice to easily create an incident during the chat.
Updated Mobile Analyst Capability – View and Edit Service Requests: In the mobile app, analysts will now be able to view and edit Service Requests (creating Service Requests will come in Q3 2020). *This will require a content package download, which is available in the marketplace*
Mobile Push Notifications: Push notifications are now enabled on the ISM mobile app. A new Quick Action Type “Mobile Push Notification” is added which can be used for Workflows & Business rules.
Mobile Biometric Authentication: Self Service and Analysts are now able to use biometric authentication to log into ISM using either fingerprint of face authentication when logging into the mobile app.
Enhanced Content for Facilities Management: The Facilities Management capabilities have been enhanced to support non-IT tasks and workflows. Ivanti has updated forms and field descriptions, added new request offerings, and 9 out of the box SSRS reports.
There is a lot to take advantage of, and hopefully a few of these items have been on your wish list, I know I am excited about the Updated Mobile Analyst Capabilities! Schedule time with us today and let us show you what it looks like!
