Hello! It’s Randall Reed, CEO of Dataseti. It’s been a while, and life has thrown some curveballs these past few years. Let me share a bit about the journey.

In late 2022, I lost my best friend, Sarge—a fearless, loyal dachshund who left a lasting hole in my heart. Then, in early 2023, I faced a professional upheaval. After over 20 years of loyalty to Ivanti, a blog I wrote urging transparency with customers led to our partnership’s abrupt end. Despite the shock, my incredible team stood by me, and nearly all our customers did too. That support reminded me we were doing things the right way.

Later that year, personal challenges intensified. After my father-in-law passed, my wife and I stepped in to save his struggling alarm company. Over nine intense months, we transformed its financial health from -18.5% EBITDA in 2023 to a remarkable 24.8% by mid-2024. Mind-blowing, yes, but it was grueling. Nevertheless, teamwork—and maybe some wine got us through.

Now, I’m fully back at Dataseti, and I’m optimistic. 2024 for Dataseti was actually a good year, thanks to customers like you. Our partnerships with Freshworks, Zendesk, and even loyal Ivanti customers continue to thrive.  However, our blogs fell flat which bothers me a little.  Going forward, my intent is to keep the blogs coming with a renewed focus on all things IT Service Management, Asset Management and Customer Experience.  After all, we’re experts and only care about helping you achieve your numbers!
